Notice of a ‘Meet the Candidates’ Forum for the 2021 Port Stephens Council Election
to be held on Monday 15 November at 7.00 pm.
The Tomaree Ratepayers and Residents Association (TRRA Inc.) will hold a ‘Meet the Candidates’ Forum in the run-up to the 4 December Council Election. The Forum will be held in the Nelson Room of the Nelson Bay Bowling Club on Monday 15 November commencing at 7.00 pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and to ask questions.
Candidates for Mayor and the East Ward have been invited to introduce themselves and to provide a brief statement of their priorities for the coming term of Council.
The Club will require those attending to comply with all Covid restrictions which are applicable on 15 November.

I would like all candidates for their commitments on :
1.The deplorable state of the roads the responsibility of the Council.Particularly the manner the roads are patched up.
2. Their policies regarding height limits of development in East Ward.
Will the NBBC allow entry if you are not a member? I’ve been turned away before for not joining the club
TRRA has confirmed with NBBC that non-members can attend, subject to meeting Covid-19 rules
