Port Stephens Council has withdrawn its support for this contentious Application because it has succumbed to pressure from the community to at last insist on a proper Species Impact Statement, which has not been provided by the proponent. Council has received over 1200 submissions on this proposal and the matter had an airing on the ABC 7.30 Report last Friday, 28 March 2014. HERE
