EcoNetwork President Iain Watt has extended an invitation to affiliates, members and friends to their first Community Forum of the year on Sunday 7 April at the Tomaree Community Centre, commencing at 2.00 pm.
Featuring guest speaker, Dr Mark Diesendorf, a long-time friend of EcoNetwork, a highly respected environmental campaigner who will discuss how we can transition to an ecologically sustainable society despite the efforts of powerful vested interests against change.
Dr Diesendorf’s presentation is a must for all who are interested in effective climate action.

Unfortunately , I won’t be in the position to attend.
The obvious contender to climate change and , particularly global warming is the destruction of natural features ( trees , grass , etc) which create the conversion of co2 to oxygen.
One only has to see the mass destruction of areas around this ares, replacing it with concrete , bitumen , roof s , etc. These besides not contributing to Photosynthesis , but store heat and radiate it.
The pundits of anti coal and gas should think along this line
