I seems hard to believe that we are still trying to have the Post Mortem on this Council Election a week after the event and it seems that we still don’t have a body!

The Australian Election Company has probably saved Council (us) some money but the cut price option usually has it’s drawbacks and the fact that we are still looking at the same flawed spreadsheet for East Ward with a West Ward booth in the middle of it, a week later, and still no result, is probably symptomatic of this approach. Even the Mayoral election results had some strange late ‘adjustments’ to the final result.

I will actually be attending a function that one of the Candidates has organized for  today (Sun) and we don’t know yet if is going to be a wake or a celebration. I guess it is a good excuse to have a few drinks anyway!
