Ward Boundary Review

The Local Government Act 1993 requires Council to monitor the voter numbers in each of its 3 Wards. The current variance is around 18%, therefore Council is required to review the Ward boundaries and make changes.

At its meeting of 11 July 2023, Council resolved the proposed Ward boundary changes would result in the suburb of Boat Harbour transferring from Central Ward to East Ward and the area including part of Harvest Road and Waterview Close, Medowie will move from West Ward to Central Ward.

Council staff will be at Birubi Point Hall, 1A Fishermans Bay Road, Anna Bay on Thursday 3 August 2023, from 4:00 to 5.30pm.

Submissions may be made until Friday, 1 September 2023.
TRRA did not raise any objections to this proposal.
