Offshore renewable energy infrastructure area proposal: Pacific Ocean off Hunter

The community is welcome to use our objection to the proposal if it assists you to formulate your own submissions to the Australian Commonwealth’s Windfarm Proposal.

TRRA recognises the national and global benefits which are associated with the move to renewable energy generation and welcomes initiatives directed towards this objective.

The natural terrestrial and marine assets of the Tomaree Peninsula are highly prized by its 30,000 plus population and the community is well aware of the critical importance of the need to protect these assets.

Accordingly, our community wishes to raise an objection to the current proposal on the bases of a lack of procedural fairness and on the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of the proposal.
