Nominations close at 12.00 Noon today (Wednesday August 08) for the PSC Council Elections and as soon the Candidates are announced we will be sending them invitations to attend our ‘TRRA Meet The Candidate’ Forums.
Negotiations are now completed with the relevant Community Groups to extend the Candidate Forums to the Central and West Wards. We have also negotiated substantial coverage with the Examiner and other media for these events.
The forums are now confirmed for:
Soldiers Point Bowling Club at 7.00pm on Monday 20 August
Anna Bay Birubi Community Hall at 7.00pm Wednesday 22 August
Medowie Community Hall at 7.00pm Monday 27 August
Tilligery Community hall at 7.00pm 03 September Now Wed 29 August
(NB: We had to move from the NB Bowling Club because of the recent fire.)
We are working on a special ABC Q & A type Audio/Visual format for these forums, to provide a platform for the Candidates and the public to communicate effectively about the major issues before this important election.
Make sure you are there for an informative and hopefully entertaining evening!
