Negotiations are under way with various Community Groups to extend the proposed Candidate Forums to the Central and West Wards.  We have also aproached the Examiner to co-sponsor this initiative.  At this stage the forums would be at:

Nelson Bay Bowling Club at 7.00pm on Monday 20 August 

Anna Bay Birubi Community Hall at 7.00pm Wedensday 22 August 

Medowie  Community Hall at 7.00pm 27 Monday August

These dates and times will be confirmed as soon as possible on this site.

We are working on a special ABC Q & A type format for these forums, to provide a platform for the Candidates and the public to comunicate effectively about the major issues before this important election.
