Following reports that Council’s sale of the land around the Salamander Shopping Centre to TinklerCorp has fallen through, TRRA has written to Council urging them to see this as an opportunity. A new approach to marketing the land with a proper vision could not only give the community a vibrant, integrated, mixed use Centre but also make a better financial return for ratepayers than Council’s attempted ‘fire-sale’.
