Many members and other local residents have expressed concern about the proposed expansion of the Soldiers Point Marina.

A local action group has been formed and held a public meeting at the Soldiers Point Bowling Club on Monday 2 April, attended by about 150 concerned residents, who were united in their opposition to the proposals.

The group is very well organised, and on top of most issues of concern, but would welcome further support. Contact:

Due to the high level of community interest Council has extended the deadline for submissions to 5 May (was 7 April). The Statement of Environmental Effects remains on exhibition at Tomaree Library (and the Council Chambers).
