TRRA Financial Sub-Committee has completed a very comprehensive submission on Port Stephens Councils Draft Integrated Plan. The DIP can be found on the Council website :Here but be warned, it is an 8.15MB download of around 440 pages!
It contains the Draft Integrated Strategic Plan, The Draft Asset Management Plan, The Draft Long Term Financial Plan 2012-2022, the Draft Workforce Strategy, And The Draft Fees & Charges 2012-2013 and is a big read!
Our Submission is 16 pages long and worth a read if you are interested in our analysis of the Financial and Moral state of this current Council and its plans for the next few years. It would certainly be worth looking at whilst pondering on who you want to represent you for the next 4 years in the coming Council Elections ……!

Well done valuable TRRA people once again. You nailed everything I had wanted to say! I just did not have the time to wade my way through that enormous plan and I doubt that any ordinary ratepayer would have either. I just hope that lots of people download at least the covering 8 pages and read it. I just despair that we could see more of the same if we don’t see a big change in Councillors in September
