TRRA Inc Meeting – 12 August – Port Stephens Council Dog Exercise Area Review – Consultation

The Dog Area Review for Port Stephens was on the agenda for the TRRA meeting held on Monday 12 August. Brendan Callander and Emma Shanks from Port Stephens Council presented the new maps and the background. The meeting was well attended by dog owners and many comments were put forward.

TRRA Inc has requested that individuals please send their own submissions to Council by the closing date of Monday 19 August addressed to the General Manager.  Comments can be emailed to council@portstephens.nsw.gov.au , posted to P O Box 42 Raymond Terrace 2324 or, if you don’t mind your comments being shared, go onto the special Facebook page.  There had already been 532 comments received via this option as at 12.8.13. Comments will be promulgated for a future Council meeting and later there will be an opportunity to comment on the final mapping when it goes out for public exhibition within the next couple of months.  New maps do not come into effect until this is completed.
