Council’s commercial section has replied to TRRA’s query about the reported disposal of land for a BigW store. They have confirmed this intention and foreshadowed workshops to help develop Design Guidelines for the rest of the Council owned land. TRRA has welcomed the opportunity to participate, but has also written to Council planning section HERE requesting information about their role, and the legal requirements relevant to the site.

We all need to watch the Council advertisement weekly to see what DA’s related to the Shopping Centre are proposed. Before we looked at 155 Salamander Way which was one way of hiding them. Now the new ruse is a Town Circuit address. Like a mug I thought that was the premises next to McDonalds-silly me!
What it was was the DA for the Aldi extension! I would hate to be dragged by the nose from Town Centre Circuit to the Aldi site now resplendent with fences and builders sheds! Why wasn’t this 155 Salamander Way! Only in Port Stephens!
